Minnie G. Garcia, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 11, 2011, at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Garcia is survived by be sons: Bernard A.J. Garcia, Patrick Garcia and wife, Frances, Gene R. Garcia and wife, Samantha, Steve M. Garcia and wife, Elaine, Manuel L. Garcia and wife, Connie; her sisters, Virginia Armijo and husband, Jimmy, Maggie Garcia, Bessie Nieto and husband, Ruben, Rosie Trujillo and husband, Bennie; her brothers, Alfredo Gutierrez, and Stanley Gutierrez and wife, Anna; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, of 57 years, Filiberto A. Garcia, on February 11, 2003. A special thank you to David Otero Sr. for all his help throughout the years; and to Heritage Hospice for their care. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
