Obituary for COPELAND

Janice Day Copeland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Janice grew up and spent most of her life in Columbus, Ohio. Janice lived in Albuquerque her last years with her son Guild and daughter-in-law Noreen, enjoying the company of children, grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren. The family is extremely grateful to all who provided her with loving care, in particular, Jesse Montoya. She was preceded in death by her husband Foster Copeland; parents Joseph and Anna Day; her sister Alice Day Zettler; and brother Robert Day. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Pat) of Seattle, WA, Robert Guild (Noreen) of Albuquerque, NM and Frank (Kathy); grandchildren Myles (Helen), Sean, Terry (Joe Carney), Cathy, Megan (Ryan) Smith, Jamie (Trent) Kanode, Molly Price-Copeland; great-grandchildren, Stella Garcia Copeland and John Foster Carney; Her sister Joan Day Wander; and many beloved nieces and nephews also survive her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 12, at St. Timothy Church in Columbus.
