Willie Delgado, 76, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Monday, January 31, 2011. Willie was born December 22, 1934 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Yvonne of 53 years; daughters Regina Jaeger and spouse Bob, Rebecca Delgado and Renee Rios and spouse Ed; grandchildren Brittany and Nathaniel Jaeger, Gabby Rios and Joseph William Delgado "JD"; brother Freddy Delgado and Ana; sisters, Fofa O'Grady and Emma Delgado; several nieces and nephews. Willie served four years in the US Navy; retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years; was the adjutant at the American Legion Post 13 and one time New Mexico American Legion State Commander. Willie loved bowling, fishing and hunting. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. , followed by an 11:00 a.m., mass at San Martin de Porres parish, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment to be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
