Carmen J. Silva, 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Carmen was born in Bayard, NM on August 5, 1931. Carmen enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her five children, Encarnacion, Agapito Jr., Benardo, Delilah and Rachel; ten grandchildren, Tanya, Lina Robert, Carny Jr., Ricky, Amanda, Josh, Terri, Fabian and Mariah; and 14 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. Carmen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel of Angels of Garcia Mortuary, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
