Alfonsia E. Petronio, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 24, 2011. Mrs Petronio is survived by her son, Arthur Petronio and wife, Christine; her sisters, Jennie Neglia, and Lizzie Mercadante; her brothers, Leo Neglia, Augie Neglia, and Tony Neglia; very close friends, Frank and Mary Barela; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Petronio was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and her parents, Pasquale and Vita Neglia. Visitation will be Thursday, Janaury 27, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m., by Lorraine and Dorothy. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Father Gerry Steinmetz, presider. Committal Serrvice will be on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
