Dan Johnson Jr., 85, passed away January 19, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A viewing will take place at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith SE Albuquerque. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife Gertrude Johnson; one son Dan Johnson III; three daughters, Sharon Palmer (Charles Sr.), Cynthia Johnson and Pamela Ray (Eddie); 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Interment will be held at Fairview Memorial Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Reverend Charles Becknell Sr., Reverend N. Darnell Smith officiating.
