Robert H. Holmes Jr.,66, was born August 14, 1944 in Goose Creek, Texas. He moved to Albuquerque in 1980. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary; and his sister Becky. He is survived by his wife, Jamie; daughter, Denise; son Jeff; father Robert Holmes Sr.; brother Mike; sister Nancy; step-children, Shannon and Jay; seven grandchildren; and five step grandchildren; He is also survived by his closest friends, whom he loved as family, and his other "son" his beloved dog, Sarge. Robert worked in hospitality sales in the Albuquerque area for many years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He enjoyed football, politics, and getting together with friends and loved ones. He will be remembered for his booming laugh and his infectious zest for life. No service will be held, at his request. The family is hosting an open house celebration of his life, at the family home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
