Obituary for OLGUIN

Gladys Grace Olguin, 88, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2011. She was born May 16, 1922 in Des Moines, IA, but was a resident of the Duke City since the mid 1950's. Gladys lived through the Great Depression, inspected ammunition during WWII, retired from Sandia Labs, survived two bouts with cancer and raised two daughters, Lori Olguin and Donna Patin, wife of Joe Patin. Gladys loved attending Copper Pointe Church, and always had a song in her heart. She never met a person she didn't like or couldn't find some good in. She will be deeply missed. Besides her friends; she leaves behind her sister, Ruby Temple and husband Jim; five grandchildren, Nick Camacho and wife Marian, Christina Camacho and husband Nick Wood, Mike Camacho and girlfriend Amanda Moore, Tami Ryan, and Ariana Olguin; She had several great-grandchildren including Dominic, Britain, Ezekiel; and a brand new great-grandson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at Copper Pointe Church, Wyoming/Montgomery NE.
