Alice L. Doyle, 79, passed on to the loving arms of her Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. She is survived by her four children, Don Martinez, David Martinez and wife, Sandra, Denise Ross, and Dominic Martinez; daughter-in-law, Gail Martinez,; brother-in-law, Pat Doyle; grandchildren, Nicole Stratton, Felicia Martinez, Jennifer Martinez, Nate Ross, Alexandra Martinez; her great-granddaughter, Natalie Gutierrez; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Doyle; and son, Dan Martinez. She was born on April 6, 1931 in Wagon Mound, NM to Daniel and Lola Lopez and graduated from St. Patrick Academy in Raton, NM. Alice attended New Mexico Highlands and retired from the City of Albuquerque. She was a member of Sangre de Cristo Parish. Alice enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing at the casinos, loving her pets, and more than anything spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may visit French Mortuary Wyoming Chapel, Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m., until the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sangre de Cristo Parish, 8901Candelaria Rd. NE, Friday, January 21, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dominic Martinez, Nate Ross, Larry Lopez, Dennis Lopez, David Martinez, and Don Martinez.
