Richard Martinez, age 66, passed away January 11, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father Candido Martinez. He is survived by his mother May L. Martinez; his wife Gloria Martinez; one son Richard Martinez Jr. and his wife Andrea; two daughters, Dolores Pineda and her husband Jimmy, Diana Pineda and her husband Rick; two brothers, Ambrosio Martinez and his wife Margie, and James Martinez and his wife Dorothy; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 14, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be Friday, January 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary. The Mass will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the St. Therese Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be James Martinez Jr., Fred Melendres, Jimmy Pineda Sr., David Martinez, Rick Pineda and Jimmy Pineda Jr. Interment will follow in the Martinez Cemetery, Edgewood, NM.
