Manuel M. Lerma Jr. 74, former Albuquerque resident passed away on Dec. 13, 2010 in Eager, AZ. He was born Mar. 27, 1936, in Silver City, NM. Manuel served his Country in the U.S. Navy 1954-58. Manuel was a mining trucker for ASARCO. He retired in 2001. He was an avid outdoorsman. Manuel is survived by his wife Marcella Barela Lerma of Eager, AZ; sons, Daniel and Rita, Joseph and Isabell; daughters, Nettie and Mike, Catherine and Milo, Virginia and Randy; three brothers; five sisters; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Lerma Sr. and Pavlita Moya Lerma,; his in-laws, Simon Barela and Nettie Barela; and infant son Vincent. Rosary and funeral mass were held at St. Peter's Catholic Church Springerville, AZ. Interment was held at the Springerville Cemetary. Manuel will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
