Lorenzo Pimentel, age 82, passed away December 27, 2010 at a local hospital. . He is survived by his wife Josefina Pimentel Garnica; eight sons: Carlos Garnica and wife Leicha; grandchildren Enrique, Lorena, Carlitos; great-grandchildren, Nadine, Brianna, Isaac, Ivan, Enriquez, Loraine, Carlos III, Monica, Vanessa, Joshu, Crista, Christine, Hector Pimentel and wife Carol; grandchildren, Hector, Lorenzo, Andres, Infania, John, Rachael; great-grandchildren, Emma Sophia and Adelina, Agustin Pimentel; grandchildren, Jaime; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Mariah, Kala; Rick Pimentel and wife Jean; grandchildren, Eliza, Rosa, Josefina, Carolina, Margaritam Jazmin, Lisa, Jackie; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Casey, Danay, Philip, Riki Lynn, Raphael, Nikki, Marcus, Carolina, Thomas jr. Savannah, Aubriele, Joseph, Shania, Miguel jr. Angelo, Alicia and Bobbi Lynn. Robert Pimentel and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Robert M., great-grandchildren, Robert, Victor Pimentel and wife Paula; grandchildren, Elena, Francisco, Paul; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Lucian, Lawrence Pimentel; grandchildren, Emmanuel, Jose, Christina, Lorenzo; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Rianna, Leonardo, Gabriel; and son Gustavo Pimentel; three daughters, Zoyla Nuanez and husband George; grandchildren, Juan, Maria Elena, Antonio, Annette, Celeste; great-grandchildren, Bijou Rose, Diego; daughters, Maricela Pimentel, and Aida Pimentel; and grandchildren, Marco, Antonio; one brother Agustin Pimentel; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was the founder of Pimentel and Sons Guitar Makers established in 1951. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 from noon to 9:00 p.m., at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW. Mass will be celebrated at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Ricardo Ramirez will celebrate the Mass.
