Marie C. C de Baca In memory of my mom Marie. Last Christmas I held my mama's hand and wrote out as many Christmas cards as I had addresses for on behalf of my mom, knowing this would be her last on the earth. Mom loved sending and receiving Christmas cards from family and friends. My mama had been diagnosed with dementia and in the five years she lived in WA to be near me and her young grandchildren, she had become my child too. It was a special time in both of our lives. This Christmas season in memory of my mom I want to wish each of my mom's family members and my mom's friends to remember the happy memories they shared with my mom. I thank everyone who came to my mama's services last year. My mama made me promise to return her to her New Mexico and we landed last New Year's day on a commercial airliner with her casket to be met by a beautiful New Mexico sunset to greet my mama home! On behalf of my family and my mom may God's blessing be upon each of you in the New Year. I miss you so much mom. Tears are prayers when one can not speak and I have shed many for you. Thank you mom for allowing me to be with you when you took the Lord's hand to go home, on December 27, 2009. Love, Pam
