Obituary for MEDLEY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday December 21, 2010

Kelman Allen Medley, 77, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Kel, as he is known to friends, is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joy L. Medley; his son Michael R. Medley; daughter Karen L. Medley; and son Glen A. Medley. Kel served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He went on to enjoy a 35 year career with IBM as a Field/Systems Engineer. He had a passion for computers and made conversation with all he encountered. When things were tough, Kel was known to quietly step in, lend a hand, and step out as quietly as he came. He was a very private person who loved his family deeply. Per his request, services will not be held. In lieu of services, we ask friends to spend time with their own families, enjoying the love and uniqueness they share. We would like to thank Barbara and the people of Hospice of the Sandias for the care and support they provided during this difficult time.
