Linda L. Morewood, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on November 23, 1938. A graduate of Allegheny General Hospital Nursing School in Pittsburgh, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years, retiring in 1999 from the Albuquerque V.A. Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim, and they would have celebrated their 51st anniversary on New Year's Day; her children, Jamie Anderson and her husband, Rick, and Jeff Morewood. She will be spending Christmas with Jesus this year. Her cremains will be interred in Santa Fe National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
