Orlan S. Gilkes, born November 25, 1920 in Barbados, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 90. Orlan is survived by his wife, Edna Gilkes; three children, Leslie, Melvyn, and William Valentine; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave. NW on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Smotherman officiating.
