Crystal Marie Marquez, age 26, died suddenly on Monday, November 29, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Albuquerque and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Rio Grande High School in 2003. She was active in sports and recently started boxing training. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan. She was preceded in death by her father Michael Mascarenas. She is survived by her mother Angela Marquez Gandara; her stepdad Armando Gandara; three sisters, Josal, Mary Ann and Kassandra Ovida; her grandparents, Pete and Mary Sepulveda and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mascarenas; her aunts and uncles, Dennis, Irene, Monica, Jeanette, Anjel, Dania, Mariah and Joe; three nieces and nephews, Mariah, Cruzito and Santos; numerous cousins and friends. Visitations will be Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at Salazar and Sons Mortuary Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church at 562 Atrisco in Albuquerque, NM. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. All arrangements intrusted to the Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.
