Earla M. Clendenin, formerly Earla Gates, 87, current resident of Albuquerque, and long time resident of Gallup, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Charles Clendenin; daughter, Kathryn Hill and husband Kenneth; son, John D. Gates; grandchildren, Jody Hocking and husband Trevor and Joshua D. Hill; and great-grandson, Jackson Burke. Funeral service will be held at French ~ Lomas Chapel on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Earla will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
