Richard E. Sr. AKA (Ernie Ricardo) born 3-23-1935 left this earth November 20, 2010. He left behind a legacy of love for his music. Father of eight super sons, one son, Steven left us in 1984, and so his father will join him in Gods Kingdom along with all of his fellow musicians who have passed over the last 50 years, Dick always said, "There is a special place for all of us and what a session we will offer our Lord." He left his sons, Frank and family, Richard and family, Thank you Shawn, Thomas and family, Harold and family, Gerard (Luke), Larry and family, Paul and family. Steven and his family greeted him in the kingdom of heaven when he arrived. To his friends - all the musicians in his life - his family - UNM doctors, nurses - Heartland Hospice - American Legion Post #99, where he served proudly for over 30 years. So many of you, God love and bless you all. A celebration of life will be held December 5, 2010 at The American Legion Post 99, 540 Louisiana Blvd, NE. 87108, from 2:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. With sincere appreciation, for the love and respect you gave my husband, I thank you, Marci Tafoya.
