Lois M. Stanaland, 88, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Nina Worden of Aztec, NM, Frances Martinez and husband, Tom of Albuquerque, and Peggy Greene and husband, Leon of Arizona City, AZ; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Garey of Dallas, TX, and Barbara Ratliff of Clovis, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Stanaland in 2006; daughter, Debbie Spartz; brother, Don Longbotham; twin sister, Louise Rodgers; half brothers, Elmo and JP Longbotham; and half sister, Bercille Harris. Lois was born June 30, 1922 in Taiban, NM to William and Ruthie Longbotham. She married Stan on April 25, 1937. Lois was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing guitar to accompany Stan on the fiddle. She loved music and singing in the church choir. Lois taught Sunday School for many years as well as Vacation Bible School. Friends and family may visit Monday, November 22, 2010, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at French - Westside Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Pastor Bob Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Ft.
