Barbara A. Pfluger, 78, passed away in her daughter's home on October 28th 2010, after a late diagnosis of end stage breast cancer. She is survived by her daughter Leslie and husband Mike Daily of Thousand Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn, and Sean. She was preceded in death by her husband George Curtis Pfluger Jr.; and son Todd Curtis Pfluger. She was born in Reading PA, and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque for 41 years. While in Albuquerque, Barbara obtained a Master's Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico and taught special education at Albuquerque Public Schools for 20 years. She enjoyed jazzercise, traveling, socializing, gardening, and going to lunch with her friends. After living in Albuquerque she moved to Palm Desert, CA to be closer to her daughter and grandkids. She joined several clubs and developed many good friends. All who knew her enjoyed her cheery demeanor and uplifting attitude. She brought light, beauty, and love to everyone she met and will be missed by all. A memorial dinner will be held at a future date in her honor in Palm Desert.
