Betty S. 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died November 19, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie W. Chavez; three children, Pat Fleming of Las Vegas, Nevada, Randy Chavez of Tijeras, NM and Charlene Chavez of Edgewood, NM. Betty loved and supported her 11 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Betty was also a creative seamstress, candle maker and home decorator. Services will be held Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 10:00am at French ~ Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, at 1:00pm.
