Alleen B. Mirabal, 92, resident of Albuquerque, and long time resident of Peralta, born December 7, 1917 in Melva, MO, passed away on November 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 1/2 years, Ralph J. Mirabal, Sr. in 1993. Alleen is survived by her son, R. J. and wife, Cheryl; sister, Laura Jane Price and husband Fred; nieces, Edna Whitley and husband, Chuck, Vesta Alleen Hobbs, Mary Czerwinsky and husband, Michael, Judy McGaffick , Wanda Brown and husband Bill; Linda Godfrey and husband Chuck, Lynda Diane Romero and husband David; nephew, Tom Baughman and many extended family members. She was a very loving, strong, independent woman. To many younger people she was considered a second mom. Some of her hobbies included reading and restoring household items. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms 1350 Bosque Farms Blvd, 87068. A private family interment will take place at Sandia Memory Gardens.
