Mary Dora Romero, 93, a resident of Albuquerque passed away at home on November 3, 2010. Mrs. Romero is survived by her children, John Romero and wife, Claudette, Agnes Padilla and husband, Esequiel, Stella Martinez, Pat Romero and wife, Anita, James Romero and wife, Angelina, Isabel Vigil and husband, David, Angela Romero, Diana Fein and husband, David, Barbara Chavez and husband, Abel and Anthony Romero; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Romero, her daughter, Esther Lillian Silva; and son, Jose Federico Romero. Mrs. Romero was a member of St. Edwin Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Esequiel Padilla, Bernadette Perea, Christine Perea, Michelle Padilla, Isabel, Angie and Diana for the loving care they gave Mary Dora. Visitation will be Sunday, November 7th, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Vigil to be held at 6:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Monday, November 8th, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW, Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed Romero, Freddie Padilla, James Romero Jr., Vincent Herrera, Richard Romero, and Eli Sorenson. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Chavez, Alex Chavez, Rick Romero, Ron Romero, Stephen Martinez, Eric Martinez, and Mike Romero.
