David Otero, Jr., 55, born August 19, 1955, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010. David is survived by his children, Manny Otero, Carlos Otero, and Dominic Otero and companion, Tara Lang; granddaughters, Denise Otero and Izabella Lang; father, David Otero, Sr.; brothers, Mike Otero and Daniel Otero; sister, Jackie Garza; mother of his children, Dolores Romero; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Lora Otero. David was a graduate of West Mesa High School, New Mexico Military Institute, and a UNM alumni. David was a UNM basketball player and high school basketball coach and a big supporter of high school basketball. David had a big impact on his family and the community, through his generosity and his big loving heart for everyone. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar.
