Paublita Aragon, a lifetime resident of New Mexico was called to her heavenly home on Friday, October 22. She was born in 1929, in Valencia, NM, to Rafael and Josefita Aragon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Aragon; parents, Rafael and Josefita Aragon; brothers, Joe M., Francisco, Espidion and James Aragon; brothers-in-law, Roldan and Esequel Aragon; sisters-in-law, Erlinda and Juanita Aragon and son-in-law, Leo Garduno. She is survived by her children, Juan L. and wife, Jude Aragon, Patricia Garduno, Katheryn and husband, Richard Perez Jr., Rafael and wife, Dolores Aragon, Evelyn Aragon, Anthony R. and wife, Elizabeth Aragon, Michael Aragon and Daniel Aragon; sisters, Emilia, Virginia and Eufemia Aragon; brother-in-law, Nikie Aragon; sisters-in-law, Francis Aragon, Carmen Aragon and Viola Avent; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. All services will be held at Sangre de Cristo Church in Valencia, beginning with a viewing on Tuesday, October 26, at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Valencia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Delfin Aragon, Leonard Montoya, Matthew Aragon, Camilo Renteria, David Garduno and Michael Perez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack and Dolores Lovato, Jim and Priscilla Armer, Austin and Antonia Wade and the Valencia Altar Society.
