Obituary for ESPINOSA

Frank A. Espinosa, Sr., 88, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, was called home to our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2010. Mr. Espinosa was born on March 11, 1922 to Abel and Lucinda (Cisneros) Espinosa of Montrose, CO. He enlisted in the US Army and served in China, Burma and India. He was awarded the America Theater Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Service Stars and the Good Conduct Medal for his brave service. Upon returning to Albuquerque, Mr. Espinosa was a general contractor and small business owner. He enjoyed and excelled at designing and constructing Spanish, adobe homes. He loved his family and enjoyed spoiling his granddaughters. Mr. Espinosa was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Lucinda Espinosa; brother, Gilbert Espinosa; and sister, Ernestine McNeely. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Vivian Espinosa, of Albuquerque, NM; son, Frank Espinosa, Jr., of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Bernadette "Betty" Philpot; of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughters, Heather Philpot and Sabrina Philpot; brother, Edward Espinosa; and sisters, Charlotte Espinosa, Victoria Martinez and Mary Espinosa.
