Barbara June Martin, 76, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010 in Colorado Springs. She was born November 19, 1933 to Dewey "Duke" and Opal Flora (Barnard) William in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1944 and attended St. Mary's High School before she married and raised five rambouxious kids. She became a hostess at Leonard's Restaurant for six years. On July 3, 1969, she married Charles Joseph Martin in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married 41 years. Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles Joseph and children, Richard Castell (Anna), Jeannie Elizabeth Bailey (Harold), James Michael Castell (Julie), Robert Stephen Castell (Alice Lee), John Howard Castell (Rebecca), Kathleen Robin Martin and grandchildren, Rick (Barbara), Lesa Marie, Disiree Danielle, Victoria Dominique, Barbara Jean, Shawn, Jeffrey Douglas, Brandon, Kayla Rae, Julie, Jonathan Lee, and Ashley; nine great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Williams (infant), Patsy (William) Houston, Charlotte (Johnson) Powell, Regina (Johnson) Hildebrand and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010, 2:00 p.m., at Chester F. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
