Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday October 17, 2010

Edna May Moore passed away peacefully at home October 8, 2010 at the age of 105. She was born in London, England, May 28, 1905, moved to Canada at age 3 and to the United States when she married Thomas L. Moore in 1928. She was predeceased by her husband Tom; and grandson Gregory Reid. She is survived by her daughter Lois Reid and grandson Scott Reid; her daughter Dianne Reidy; and son-in-law Richard Reidy; grandsons, John Reidy and Robert Reidy; granddaughter Lauren Reidy and Cody Phelan; great-granddaughter Mya Phelan and her Goddaughter Mary Simms. Edna was ever thankful for her many friends that brought such joy to her life. She lived her life with grace and beauty, teaching us the importance of loyalty and commitment to family and friends. We will forever cherish our memories of her beautiful smile, her twinkling blue eyes, her holiday dinners, and most of all, her zest for life. It was Edna's wish that no service be held because she believed every day was a life's celebration when you were blessed with good health, loving family and treasured friends. Special thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Morgan, Hospice of Sandias and good friend Vangie Zamarron.
