Raymon Guadalupe Griego 67, passed away on Monday Oct 11, 2010. Raymon was born in Las Vegas,NM on March 19, 1943. He was preceded in death by father, Florencio Griego and mother, Lourdes Ortega Griego. He is survived by sons, Kenneth Griego, Tom Griego; and daughter Valerie Kelley and husband Michael; six grandchildren; and one great-grandaughter; He is also survived by brothers, Pete Griego and Ignacio Griego; and sisters, Santana Gonzales, Helen Ornelas, Virginia Griego and Veronica Jemenez. Raymon worked as a printer at the New Mexican as a young man and moved to Albuquerque in 1970 after he became ill with polymyositis. He fought this disease and once again led an active life. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Catherine for their care and concern for our father while in their care. A private viewing and cremation has taken place.
