Donald J. Lane, 77, passed away on October 12, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on August 27, 1933 in Silver City, NM to Dr. Russell and Maureen Lane. Don was a retired Funeral Director having practiced for 32 years at Strong-Thorne Mortuary and Riverside Funeral Home. He was a graduate of NMMI, UNM & Dallas Institute. Don Served in the US Air Force. He is survived by his cousin Toni Furman and her husband Bunkie of Arlington, Texas; two nephews, Mark and Dell Shaw of Texas; and many close friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Riverside Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Ft. Worth, Texas.
