May Belle Parr, 96, a resident of Las Cruces, NM died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at home. She was born September 19, 1914 in Hamlin, West Virginia to Thomas and Sophia Ullom. May is survived by her daughter, Carol Hixon and husband, Joel of Las Cruces; a daughter in law, Nelda Parr of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Parr in 2003 and a son, James Parr in 1995. Friends may visit French ~ Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm. Burial will take place at 9:00 am on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
