Obituary for GARCIA

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday October 05, 2010

Maya Estasi Garcia, one, a resident of Albuquerque NM passed away October 2, 2010. During the small amount of time here on earth Maya was a large blessing to many. At first glance a smile was brought to anyone's face. Moments later any room could be heard with the most loving laughter. She was the love that connected people that individually knew her. Maya was the inspiration for new lives to many. Maya taught people that having family is the key to any successful life. She enjoyed every bit of life form the giving hugs to pairs of people, to eating fries and nuggets from her happy meals. Maya loved going for her evening walks around her house and visiting parks with a swing set near by. She never missed bath time because bubbles were her favorite. Compared to butterflies and bees she was a free spirited infant in search of love. She will be sorely missed by all. Maya's family ask that people pray for Maya. She is survived by her parents Erik Garcia and Latisha Smith; maternal first cousins Hope Johnson, Yanibaa Johnson, Tylan Johnson; three aunts Shirlynne Johnson, Shandolin Johnson, and Brianna Garcia; two uncles Sheldon Smith and Alecks Garcia; paternal grandparents Jaime and Veronica Garcia; maternal grandparents Troy and Shirlee Smith; great-grandmother Virginia Dorado; great-grandparents Sam and Maggie Johnson.
