Obituary for WAGNER

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Monday October 04, 2010

Clifford Glennon Wagner departed in peace on Thursday, September 30, 2010 after 72 years of life and love. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores; daughter, Lisa; sons, Michael and David; and grandchildren, Jessica and Alex. A research engineer at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque, Cliff strove to discover innovative means to power the nation's defensive infrastructure. His passion for science, honesty, and clear-thinking led him to defend and promote the best ideas and the most effective means of discovery. His greatest passion was for his wife and family. Each of his days was expended in joyful service to his most beloved. We will carry the great love and humor of this noble man for the rest of our days. There will be a Rosary recited on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a Memorial Mass to celebrate his life at 2:00 p.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Drive NW. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Wagner requests a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) be made in honor of Cliff's life. French 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (505)897-0300
