Betty J. Jones, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died peacefully at home on Monday, September 27, 2010 after a short illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Fenner D. Jones; their three daughters, Christy Everett, Kathy Caffrey, Connie Jones and their families. A memorial service will be held, Thursday, September 30, 2010, 2:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel. A reception will follow at the Jones' family home. A graveside service will take place Friday, October 1, 2010, 1:00 p.m., at Corona Cemetery, Corona, NM. Mrs. Jones requested that a gift to the charity of your choice be made in lieu of flowers. Her family has also suggested, as a tribute to her great love of trees, one be planted in her honor.
