Marianne Corbett-Cobos nee Maldener, 69, of Albuquerque passed on September 18, 2010. Marianne was born in Idar-Oberstein, Germany on November 11, 1940. She is survived by her husband Irving Cobos; her son Stephan Corbett; and her two grandsons Nicholas and Zachary Corbett; She also leaves behind her granddaughter Sarah Bryan. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents Siegfried and Friedel Maldener; and her youngest son Eric Corbett. During her life, Marianne enjoyed boating and spending time with her family at Elephant Butte Lake. She was a wife, daughter, mother, aunt, granddaughter, grandmother, cousin and friend to many and to her family was known simply as "Omi", which in German means "little grandmother". She enjoyed her profession as an office manager to Michael Scialla, Orthopedic Surgeon. She has been living in America since 1962 and embraced the lifestyle of New Mexico. A memorial service will be held for Marianne on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at French - University, 1111 University Blvd NE.
