Richard (Dick) Slater, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Emery Thieman; nieces, Alice Thieman, Betty Humphrey and husband, Pete, and Patricia Thieman; nephew, Mike Slater and wife, Margie; five great-nieces; and one great-nephew; and several great-great-nieces; and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Josephine Slater. Richard was a WWII veteran, retired as Production Supervisor of a paint manufacturing company, and was an avid golfer. The family will host a private gathering, and burial will take place in Anaheim, CA. Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to the charity of your choice.
