Dorothy T. Salazar, 92, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010. She is survived by her grandchildren, Darren Sanchez, and Janine Salmon and husband, Louie; great-granddaughter, Kelsi Gonzales; sisters, Prudy Crollett, Betty Phillips, Sadie Greenleaf, Gloria Smith and husband, Buford and Veronica Griego and husband, Alex; brother, Ronald Sandoval and wife, Mary Ann; and many other family and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; daughter, Diane; and her parents Tito and Lita Sandoval. Mrs. Salazar was a dedicated beautician for 75 years, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and she will be dearly missed. She was a longtime faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Friends may visit Sunday, September, 19, 2010, 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel. A Prayer Vigil will be recited Sunday, September 19, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 20, 2010, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo, 1818 Coal Ct. SW, with entombment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
