Tommy "Hippie" Grant, 62, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 4, 2010. He is survived by his sisters Carol Grant, Maxine Gutierrez and husband Ernie, all of Albuquerque and Colleen Aragon and husband Tim, of Los Lunas; nieces Renee Gutierrez and Valerie Gutierrez; nephews Victor Gutierrez and Martin Gutierrez; great-nieces Kayla and Erika and great-nephews Jonathan, Brandon and Nathaniel; and many aunts and uncles and cousins. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lita Grant. As a special needs person, Tommy was full of life. Tommy was so much fun to be around. He had unique sense of humor and his own special "hippie" language. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him. He will leave a big void in all our lives. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 9, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 5310 Claremont NE. Tommy will be interred with his parents at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, September 9, 2010. Pall bearers will be Dennis LeBlanc, Ernie Gutierrez, Tim Aragon, Martin Gutierrez, Victor Gutierrez, Mark Langford, and Jeanette Gutierrez.
