Obituary for LUNA

Louis L. Luna, started his new journey with our Lord on August 17, 2010. Louis, age 49, was born in Albuquerque, NM on July 21, 1961. He later moved to California, then to Las Vegas, Nevada where he remained a resident. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Adolfo Luna. He is survived by his mother, Rosie Luna; three brothers, Ron Luna, Richard Luna and his wife Martha, their children, James, Eli and Jessica and Jim Luna and Brenda Stone and their son Cody; one sister, Florence Gomez and her husband Jaime, their three children, Joshua, Candace and Zachary; and longtime best friend, Karen Marshall, whom he loved deeply. Louis had a distinguished career of over 30 years at Smith's Grocery Store where he moved up to Management. He was very dedicated to his job. Louis was an amazing person who has touched so many lives and provided so many cherished memories. He was a very outgoing and loving person, he always had a positive outlook and enjoyed laughter. Louis and his warm smile will be deeply missed by both his family and friends. Let us celebrate his new life with our Lord, with a visitation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010, followed by a rosary at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW. A Mass will then follow from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
