Jacob William Grandia "Jake", age 58, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010. Jake was preceded in death by his father, Bill Grandia. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cheryl; children, Cameron and Alex; mother, Catherine; brother, David; sister, Becky Gibson (David); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jake was passionate about his work and his hobbies. He loved working with his hands and loved coaching youth sports. He coached his son in baseball and his daughter in soccer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010, 1:00 p.m., at 1st Congregational Church, 2801 Lomas Blvd. NE. Donations may be made in Jake's name to the Alameda Soccer Club, 6303 4th St. NW Suite 8, Albuquerque, NM 87107, and/or the Alameda Little League, P.O.
