Richard Lee Zimmerman, 77, resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died July 18, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Zimmerman of Albuquerque, NM; children, John Zimmerman of Albuquerque, NM, Tim Zimmerman of Raleigh, NC, Paul Zimmerman of Santa Fe, NM and Sara Lynch and husband David of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Brett Zimmerman, Alexander and Matthew Lynch; sisters, Ruth Weaver, Norma Wiley and Elizabeth Hoover; and brother Robert Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was tirelessly devoted to the health and happiness of his family. He participated on numerous boards and non-profits throughout his 46 year professional career as anautomobile dealer in Freeport, Illinois. He retired to New Mexico where he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, hiking, canoeing and studyingthe art and culture of the area as well as continuing to volunteer his time and knowledge to help support his community. A memorial service will be held on August 21, 2010, 3:00 at French Mortuary Chapel, on Wyoming Blvd in Albuquerque.
