Benito "Ben" was born on March 26 and passed away on August 2, 2010 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Las Vegas, NM, lived in Santa Fe for many years and moved to Albuquerque in 2009. He retired from the Albuquerque Publishing Co. He served with the US Army. He was much loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Ben is survived by his wife of 50 years, Consuelo Gonzales; his children, Ambrosio and his wife Teresa of Oklahoma City, Chris, and Cordelia both of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; brothers Joe and wife Stella and Cleofes and Victoria all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Lucinda Gonzales; and brother Manuel. Cryptside services will be Monday, August 9, 2010, 9:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
