Shawnta Lanell Sanchez was born August 27, 1991 in Albuquerque, NM. She passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the age of 18. She will be remembered as a loving daughter with a vibrant smile, good heart, and will be greatly missed. Shawnta was preceded in death by her mom, Roxanne; brother, Salamon; cousin, Isaiah "Zozo"; grandpa, Rudy Armstead, Sr.; and uncle, Ricardo. She is survived by her loving father, David "Taco" Sanchez; loving brother, Elijah Sanchez; and loving sisters, Sharanda, O'Shay, LaToya, Mahala, and Amaha; grandparents, Lorraine, Nancy, and Demetris; great-grandparents, Otis and Margie; special friend, Valerie; nephew, Noah; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Avenue NW, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. The Viewing and Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. A Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cementerio Evangelico, off of Blake and Coors SW.
