Obituary for ARMIJO

Jose "Clyde" Armijo, age 84, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 25, 2010. He was born in Corrales, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. Clyde served our country in the United States Army, during World War II as a Teletype Operator. He was a member of the American Legion Post #69. He retired from Kirtland Air Force Base as a Firefighter. Clyde will fondly be remembered as a hard worker, wonderful father and provider with a great sense of humor; and will be greatly missed by his family and by those whose hearts he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Rita Armijo; brothers, Frank, Tony, Waldo and Cipi Armijo; granddaughter, LeAnne Joney; and step-father, Sam Garcia. Clyde is survived by his loving children, Michael "Mike" Armijo and wife Yolanda, Joseph "Joe" Armijo, Margaret "Margie" Quintero and husband Mark, Herman Armijo and wife Brenda, and Linda Harry; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Chonita Lucero, Alvinita Lucero, Dora Gurule and Lydia Santillanes; his brothers, Jimmy, Ernest and David Armijo; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In honoring Clyde's wishes, No services will be conducted.
