Cecilia D. Lloyd "Cissy" born in Corrales, NM to Alejandro and Teofila Gonzales on April 29, 1927, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. Prior to living in Albuquerque, she was a longtime resident of Reserve, NM. Cissy was the last remaining member of the Alejandro Gonzales family of Corrales, NM. She enjoyed cooking. Cissy was friendly, outgoing, and always had a smile, and she enjoyed meeting new people. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Lloyd on June 19, 2006; and sister, Esther Martinez. Cissy is survived by her step-sons, Stephen Lynn Lloyd and family, and Dudley Eugene Lloyd, and family; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont NE., off of Menaul Blvd, just west of Wyoming NE. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. She will be interred with her husband, Richard, in Reserve, NM at a later date.
