Veronica Marie Lopez, 33, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 18, 2010. Veronica is survived by her parents, Rudy and Dorothy Lopez; her children, Devon, Jacqueline and Demetrius; her sisters, Jennifer, Sarah, Jocelyn, Samantha and Diana; her brothers, Christopher, Charles, and Stephen; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Lita Ortiz; a loyal friend, Dr. Mary Alice Cooper; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Veronica was preceded in death by her brother, Adam; and grandparents, Lorenzo and Lucy Lopez. Veronica was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by her sisters. Final visitation will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Michael DePalma, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Ortiz, LeRoy Ortiz, Michael Ortiz, Marvin Ortiz, Ben Nelson, Ben Lara, Robert Flores, and Gavino Lopez.
