Kenneth A. Ystesund, 88, passed away on Monday July 12, 2010. He was born in Thief River Falls, MN on June 9, 1922, and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1970. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ida Z. Ystesund; son Kenneth J. Ystesund and his wife Cindy of Albuquerque; son Keith A. Ystesund of Dolores, CO; daughter Karen A. Clement and her husband John of Gunnison, CO; grandchildren Josh Ystesund, Alex Ystesund and Amanda Ystesund; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken Ystesund was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War, and retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He was an avid sportsman, hunter, fisherman, and storyteller. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family for his warm sense of humor and love of the outdoors.
