Donald J. Heckler, Sr. November 2, 1922 - July 10, 2010 Born in Chicago, Illinois to R.E. Heckler and Helen Quill Heckler. Don's father had TB and the family moved to New Mexico when Don was two months old. He is survived by two sons, Donald J. Heckler, Jr. and Patrick A. Heckler; two grandsons, Donald J. Heckler III and Christopher D. Heckler; and two great-grandchildren, Cierra Heckler and Samuel Heckler; Don is also survived by a brother, John R. Heckler and his wife Delores and their five children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Beller Heckler. Don was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korean conflict. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddues Catholic Church in Paradise Hills.
