Helen Lester, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Beem and husband Kevin and their son, Kevin Bryan Beem all of Albuquerque; sister, Barbara Jennings and brother, Carl Centers. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harry Lester. A funeral service will be celebrated in Helen's honor on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd NE. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sun Bonnett at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, 87102.
